Are you passionate about estate planning and helping clients navigate the complexities of trusts and tax law? We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Remote Tax & Estate Planning Attorney to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to guide clients through essential estate planning strategies while ensuring they understand the full scope of their options and the legal implications of their decisions.
What You'll Do:
Client Consultations & Strategy Development: Conduct virtual consultations with clients to assess their estate planning needs and suggest tailored legal strategies that suit their unique circumstances.
Document Preparation & Review: Draft, review, and finalize essential estate planning documents, such as revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and other related legal instruments.
Tax & Probate Guidance: Advise clients on the tax implications of their estate plans and assist with probate matters when applicable, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the process.
Stay Updated on Legal Changes: Keep up-to-date with federal and state laws, tax codes, and probate regulations to ensure compliance and the highest quality service for clients.
Client Education & Presentations: Help clients understand estate planning concepts by presenting them in a clear, approachable manner, empowering them to make informed decisions.
Collaborative, Remote Work: Work alongside a supportive team of legal professionals and staff to deliver seamless service in a fully remote environment.
What We're Looking For:
Licensed Attorney: Active license and good standing in at least one U.S. state.
Experience in Estate Planning: At least 3 years of experience in estate planning, trust drafting, and probate law (5+ years preferred).
Sales & Client Engagement: Ability to explain complex estate planning strategies in a clear and persuasive manner, ensuring clients feel confident in their decisions.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with estate planning and tax software is preferred, but not required.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Flexible Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
