A prestigious Venture Capital firm in New York is actively seeking an Associate to join its dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough market research financial analysis and due diligence to evaluate potential investments in startups and growthstage companies.
• Deal Sourcing: Assist in sourcing new investment opportunities and building relationships with entrepreneurs and industry networks.
• Portfolio Management: Support the firms portfolio companies with strategic guidance financial analysis and business development initiatives.
• Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess investment opportunities and valuations.
• Fundraising Support: Assist in fundraising efforts by preparing materials and presentations for potential investors.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members in all aspects of deal flow from initial screening to postinvestment monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field (MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus).
• 3 years of experience in venture capital private equity investment banking or a similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling valuation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and relevant financial software tools.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• A passion for technology innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
