Job Description

Position Title : Test Engineer(US Citizens Only)

Location : Remote


We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of software applications and systems.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across various platforms, including web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure that test plans align with product goals.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through detailed bug reports, ensuring that issues are reproducible, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Participate in the review of software requirements, design documents, and technical specifications to ensure testability and quality.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Execute performance and load testing to evaluate system behavior under different traffic conditions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase testing efficiency, coverage, and accuracy.
  • Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration (CI) tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) to integrate automated tests into the development pipeline.
  • Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experiences.
  • Analyze test results, generate test reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders, providing insights into product quality and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot issues, ensuring fast resolution and effective problem-solving.
  • Stay up to date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices, recommending improvements to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or in a similar testing role, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, TravisCI).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or similar).
  • Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling) is a plus.
  • Experience in database testing, SQL, and the ability to write queries to validate data in relational databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate test results and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and testing in cloud-based
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
