About The Role

The Technical Integration Consultant at AMPECO plays a vital role in ensuring seamless hardware integration and making sure that clients’ technical needs are handled in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hardware integration tests to ensure seamless functionality and compatibility - for example evaluating the communication protocol of an EV charger;
  • Respond to inquiries about different hardware integrations across various communication channels, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and professionalism and providing timely assistance;
  • Analyze logs to identify patterns, errors, anomalies, and pinpoint the underlying causes of issues, facilitating troubleshooting and resolution;
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of our product, different hardware and current standards related to the EV industry;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and discuss relevant data and insights necessary for tackling technical challenges effectively;
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards hardware manufacturers, customers and partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction across all partnerships;
  • Manage and maintain documentation related to hardware manufacturers, product functionalities, and the EV charging industry to support internal and external stakeholders effectively;
  • Serve as the liaison between customers and hardware manufacturers, facilitating clear communication to ensure seamless integration and functionality;
  • Act as an escalation point for the technical support team, providing guidance and expertise on complex technical issues;
  • Consult existing and potential customers on various topics regarding our product.

Your Profile

  • Previous experience in a tier 2 technical support role or handling complex technical issues;
  • Robust technical background with expertise in log analysis, debug data collection, and issue reproduction;
  • Knowledge of API, communication protocols and network communications;
  • Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities;
  • Passion for technology and aptitude for rapid learning;
  • Effective communication and exceptional customer service skills;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Previous experience in a manual QA position testing software and/or hardware is considered an advantage.
