Position: Spa Nail Technician- Part Time

Reports to: Spa Manager

Job Purpose:  
Deliver exceptional, person-centered care as a spa nail technician, leveraging spa focused expertise in pedicures, manicures, and other services, while educating clients on benefits and recommending customized spa-to-home care for a relaxing experience. 

Job Summary:  
To contribute to the spa team’s achievements by consistently offering quality nail experiences and functioning as a cohesive team member to realize company aspirations, including revenue growth through product sales, return clientele, education of spa to home care as well as other spa offerings.

Salary: 25%-28% commission, and 20% auto gratuity.

GUEST EXPERIENCE:

• Establish a serene space where guests can feel comfortable, safe and relaxed. 
• Address guest concerns in a thoughtful and gracious manner, even under pressure.
• Approach your work with an eye toward continuous improvement. Follow up with and report any guest concerns/feedback.

SPA EXPERIENCE AND OPERATIONS:

• Adhere to licensing parameters, standard policies, and written protocols to uphold the highest standards of Reflections Spa. 
• Be knowledgeable about and proficient in our nail care services, like manicures and pedicures, and keep spa records and systems secure.
• Maintain all inventory levels in the nail department.
• Strive to exceed all goals within service standards and retail sales.
• Maintain a clean workstation and equipment as required by state board guidelines, leave each space better than found. 
• Communicate ideas or issues to your Spa Manager in a timely manner.
• Keep informed about the Spa and its offerings through regular updates.
• Miscellaneous projects as assigned by management.

AVAILABILITY:

• Flexibility, with nights and weekends required.
• Cosmetologists are encouraged to apply. 
• Potential for a blended schedule of both nail services and facials/body treatments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a valid Wisconsin cosmetologist or manicurist license.
• 1-2 years of experience in a spa or upscale salon setting preferred.
