Senior Cost Accountant - South Atlanta

Our client, a strong stable company has an immediate need for a Senior Cost Accountant. This is a permanent opportunity with excellent benefits and a generous PTO program.

Salary : Up to $85k plus excellent benefits and a generous PTO program.

Duties:

• You will assist with month-end close
• Costing of labor, materials, and shipping.
• You will be responsible for Bank & Treasury Activity (Making wire payments, clearing checks, bank reconciliations, etc.)
• You will be the primary contact for A/P-related activities: invoice entry, questions from vendors, etc.)
• You will oversee A/R Clerk by providing support on heavy cash collection days and directional support when questions arise.

Requirements:

• BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of experience
• Experience working in a high-volume setting (many vendors, many customers)
• Cost accounting experience required
• QuickBooks is a plus but not required
