JOB DESCRIPTION : Full-time faculty position in an Associate Degree Nursing Program. The successful candidate will join a dynamic faculty engaged in team teaching and shared decision making in a concept based, integrated curriculum. Position requires classroom, laboratory, and clinical teaching, committee responsibilities, student advisement, and other duties assigned by the Provost. This position may include teaching during evening hours. Teaching may involve teaching face-to-face, remote, day, evening, online, hybrid, and HyFlex courses.
This position is within the Faculty Association Union. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.
Master’s degree in Nursing and a minimum of two years of recent clinical experience required. Strong medical-surgical nursing and classroom teaching background, a demonstrated commitment to fostering partnerships among diverse communities, as well as experience working in a multicultural setting with a diverse student population, including non-traditional and under-prepared students, are highly desirable.
