About the Role:
As our Medical Logistics Manager, you'll be the backbone of our material and logistics operations. You'll oversee everything from inventory management and shipping to quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our medical facilities have the supplies they need to provide comprehensive care to those in need. This position is contingent on contract award.
What You'll Do:
Manage inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and devices, including monitoring stock levels, conducting audits, and restocking.
Direct receiving and shipping processes, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and timely delivery.
Ensure quality standards are met by performing regular inspections and testing.
Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
Monitor expiration dates and other critical information to prevent misuse or waste.
Manage the maintenance and servicing of medical equipment.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Communicate effectively with other departments and healthcare personnel.
Coordinate daily operations with requestors, cataloging, purchasing, and supply chain teams.
Oversee the movement of personnel and equipment.
What You'll Bring:
Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize multiple priorities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong PC/Microsoft Office applications background.
Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets.
Extensive knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent data entry skills.
High school degree or equivalent; Associate degree in a related field preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs.
U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency.
Current MRPT Clearance preferred.
What We Offer:
Competitive Pay: $51,000 - $125,000 per year (depending on experience and location).
