#### **Role Overview**
We are seeking a **Marketing and Event Marketing Coordinator** to support our local and national growth. This individual will:
- Coordinate marketing strategies for our storefront business and creative agency.
- Plan and execute events to drive community engagement and customer acquisition.
- Manage small-to-medium scale projects with an emphasis on results-driven strategies.
This role is structured to reward efficiency and skill, with a tiered hourly pay rate based on task complexity:
- **$17/hr:** Administrative and routine marketing tasks.
- **$20/hr:** Intermediate content creation and client communications.
- **$25/hr:** Event planning and execution, marketing campaigns.
- **$35/hr:** High-level strategic planning and project management.
#### **Responsibilities**
1. **Marketing Coordination:**
- Develop and schedule social media and digital marketing content.
- Collaborate on retail promotions and campaigns.
- Track and analyze marketing metrics to improve ROI.
2. **Event Marketing:**
- Organize and promote local events at Tangier Media Studio (workshops, showcases).
- Coordinate logistics for events, including scheduling, materials, and vendor relations.
- Manage event budgets and evaluate event success through feedback and KPIs.
3. **Project Management:**
- Oversee marketing and creative projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute campaigns.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
4. **National Initiatives:**
- Support marketing campaigns aimed at building Tangier Music Co.'s artist-first ecosystem.
- Help identify partnerships and audiences for national outreach.
#### **Qualifications**
- **Experience:**
- 2+ years in marketing, event planning, or related fields.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, or similar).
- Experience working in retail, creative industries, or photography is a plus.
- **Skills:**
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe).
