Manufacturing CAD Designer

Objective

This role supports operations by producing detailed 3D Manufacturing Designs for both internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop assembly and component drawings for sales proposals, custom orders, and new product initiatives
• Create and maintain accurate bills of material and component data within enterprise systems
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation packages including 3D electronic files with appropriate specifications
• Execute drawing modifications and updates while ensuring all systems remain synchronized
• Collaborate with production, assembly, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Support knowledge transfer by assisting with CAD-related training for new team members

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in manufacturing industry CAD design
• Strong 3D CAD modeling capabilities
• Creo proficiency preferred but not required
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Manufacturing environment experience highly valued
• Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred
