Position Overview:

This internship offers a unique opportunity for students to apply their business knowledge in a dynamic healthcare setting. Interns will gain hands-on experience by working on strategic initiatives that span across operations, finance, marketing, and patient services. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of interns and engage directly with Altheda’s leadership, helping to streamline operations, optimize patient experience, and improve business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Strategy & Analysis: Participate in projects focused on enhancing operational workflows, improving patient capacity, and developing business strategies.
• Research & Data Analysis: Conduct market research, analyze healthcare trends, and develop data-driven insights to support decision-making.
• Operations & Process Improvement: Assist in identifying bottlenecks in patient services and propose actionable solutions to improve efficiency.
• Presentation Development: Work with your team to create detailed reports and presentations with actionable recommendations for Altheda’s leadership.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with other departments, including finance, operations, and marketing, to ensure strategic alignment across the organization.
• Leadership Exposure: Present findings to senior leaders and participate in strategy sessions, receiving direct mentorship and feedback from the executive team.

Internship Structure:

• Team Collaboration: Work with a small group of interns to tackle different challenges each month, with the most experienced intern serving as the team lead.
• Monthly Project Focus: Each month, the team will address a key business challenge such as patient flow optimization, expanding community outreach, or developing new service lines.
• Leadership Engagement: Present your team’s findings directly to Altheda’s leadership team, gaining insights and feedback to refine your approach.

Qualifications:

• Current student pursuing a degree in business, healthcare management, finance, marketing, or a related field .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team .
• A demonstrated interest in healthcare operations and business strategy .
• Prior experience in consulting, project management, or healthcare is a plus but not required.
