**_Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church (CFBC)_** is seeking a knowledgeable and reliable IT and Network Support Specialist to provide as-needed support for our technology systems.

This part-time, contract position is perfect for a skilled professional who can troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, maintain network functionality, and optimize AV systems to support our ministry effectively. The ideal candidate will align with the church's mission and demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to IT support.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

IT Support and Troubleshooting:

* Provide on-call support to resolve technical issues with computers, printers, and other hardware or software.
* Diagnose and fix problems with church AV systems, including live streaming equipment, projectors, and sound systems.

Network and Systems Maintenance:

* Monitor and maintain the church’s LAN/Wi-Fi networks to ensure smooth operation.
* Implement security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access or cyber threats.
* Set up and configure hardware or software as needed for church services or events.

Staff and Volunteer Support:

* Assist staff and volunteers with IT-related tasks, including email, video conferencing tools, and presentation software.
* Provide basic training to users on using church technology effectively.

Consultation and Planning:

* Recommend updates, upgrades, or replacements to hardware and software.
* Assist in implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum three (3) years of experience in IT support, network security and/or network management, preferably for a small organization or nonprofit.
* Familiarity with AV systems used in worship settings (e.g., soundboards, live streaming software).
* Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical individuals.
* Understanding and respect for the church’s values, traditions, and the role of technology in ministry.
* Commitment to confidentiality and ethical management of sensitive church data.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT AND REQUIREMENTS**

* Schedule: flexible, on-call support required for occasional services, events, or emergencies, including weekends and evenings.
* Physical Requirements: ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
* Work Setting: mostly remote, but must be available to provide on-site support at our Wilmington, DE location.

**COMPENSATION:** hourly rate based on experience, paid per assignment or service call.
