As a Pathology Assistant, you will work closely with pathologists to perform critical tasks in the gross room, manage specimen processing, assist in preparing frozen sections, and provide valuable support throughout various pathology procedures. You will be responsible for handling complex specimens, performing specialized procedures, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality in all tasks.
Key responsibilities for this role include dissecting surgical specimens and assisting in section analysis, photograph specimens, ensure specimens are correctly processes, and labeled, and monitor and resolve any issues related to specimen receipt and processing.
