The Group Sales Manager is an entry-level sales department job in the hotel with a performance quota. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, prospecting to generate business. Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals and contracts, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizes Hyatt systems and coordinates customer service requirements as appropriate. The Sales Manager also works as a team member with the sales staff in close contact with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff. This position is responsible for booking large market group sales. The market territory covers North East and upper Mid-West to include groups such as corporate, tech companies, pharmaceutical companies, etc.
This is a temporary position with employment time from middle of May to middle of October.
The position is an hourly with compensation ranging from $50-$60 per hour.
