Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Chinese Mandarin Language Instructor to join our prestigious educational institute, renowned for its excellence in foreign language instruction.   • Teach Comprehensive Language Skills: Instruct students in Chinese Mandarin, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, while integrating cultural, geopolitical, and socio-economic topics into the curriculum.
  • Student-Centered Approach: Facilitate an immersive learning experience, employing innovative teaching methodologies to engage students and foster a deep understanding of the language.
  • Utilize Technology: Enhance the learning process by integrating modern technology tools such as Smart Boards, the Internet, and mobile devices to deliver interactive and effective instruction.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Stay current with the latest foreign language teaching theories, methods, and best practices. Participate in faculty development opportunities to refine your instructional techniques.
  • Classroom Management: Conduct six hours of instruction per day, five days a week, following an intensive schedule that promotes language mastery.
  • Curriculum Design and Adaptation: Develop and adapt instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs and to keep pace with evolving language instruction standards.

Requirements

  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in both Chinese Mandarin and English, with the ability to effectively communicate complex language concepts to students.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required. A background in education, linguistics, or related fields is preferred.
  • Teaching Experience: Prior experience teaching Chinese Mandarin to adults in a structured environment is highly desirable.
