We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our Cost Basis Team! If you’re passionate about financial data, enjoy solving problems, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Process routine transactions and manage daily responsibilities across various operational areas such as analysis, reporting, account openings, trade and payment processing, and data entry.
• Provide excellent service and support to both internal partners and external clients, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• You’ll have the opportunity to guide and mentor newer team members, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow.
• While you'll have the chance to work independently, more complex issues will be referred to the Operations Team Manager or Supervisor for guidance.
• As part of our Cost Basis Team, you’ll specifically focus on handling branch inquiries and update requests from clients regarding cost basis updates in our Global Tax Lots system.
• You’ll research and resolve transactional breaks that cause inaccurate cost basis, making sure everything is up to date and in line with regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Some experience working with financial statements and records, with an eye for detail.
• A strong understanding of tax lot records and the ability to maintain accuracy, especially during the busy tax season (Jan-April).
• An ability to manage your time well and communicate effectively, both written and orally.
• The drive to work both independently and as a supportive team member, always staying positive and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to IRS rules and regulations, making sure we stay compliant.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Additional Information:

• Overtime may be required, particularly during tax season, so flexibility is important.
