The Director, Global Delivery - Supply Chain Operations position is to support the LS&Co Inventory Management team that drive volume, margin and inventory goals for the company. The position provides support for a large volume of business, brands, channels/business models. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader delivering technology solutions towards business strategies driving benefits and will be part of the Global Business Transformation and Inventory Management technology organization. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain & Operations. Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years IT experience supporting business systems, with minimum 5 years’ experience delivering technology solutions for supply chain operations.
  • Able to help stakeholders set priorities and goals.
  • Leadership of team managers, project resources, and influencing other IT Leaders.
  • Partnering with business leaders and executives to drive positive change.
Knowledge, Skills, &Abilities:
  • Involves key players in identifying needs, issues and solutions related to the project. Proposes plans that are aligned with business objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge of computing technologies and operations that support business systems and the user community. Knowledge of one or more Supply Chain capability area/applications with extensive experience in the relevant domain areas for their function.
  • Experience in building software applications in an agile delivery fashion with effective expertise as a technical product manager.
  • Excellent leadership skills with business and technical groups. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required. Able to take initiative in a fast-paced work environment and able to interface with a variety of functions at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong planning and organization, flexibility and interpersonal skills required. Ability to obtain sponsorship and to prioritize multiple projects within the functional area.
  • Ability to anticipate technological changes, communicate the impact these changes may have on the organization and meet the business requirements necessary to implement the changes. Understanding of apparel retailer industry is a must.
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is $180,000- $240,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs. Levi Strauss & Co.
