This is an exciting opportunity to create educational content designed to help future teachers pass their certification exams. You will produce YouTube videos that offer valuable test strategies, content reviews, and other helpful information to guide aspiring teachers in their exam preparation. The videos you create will be crafted by educators, for educators, with a focus on offering real-world insights and tips.
Key Responsibilities:
Create Educational YouTube Videos: Develop videos that help aspiring teachers prepare for their certification exams. These videos should be engaging, informative, and concise (under 10 minutes in length).
Content Types: Produce a variety of video content, including:
Testing strategies (e.g., Practice problems for specific exams)
Top 10 tips (e.g., Tips for passing a specific certification exam)
Informational clips (e.g., Explanation of exam concepts and strategies)
Maintain Clarity & Engagement: Present information in a way that is easy to understand, engaging, and motivating for viewers.
Ensure Accuracy & Relevance: Make sure that all content is up-to-date and relevant to the certification exams for future teachers.
On-Camera Presence: Maintain a confident and professional presence in front of the camera, making the learning experience enjoyable and effective for your audience.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree (in any subject).
Experience: Passed a state or national teacher certification exam.
Equipment: A microphone, camera, and digital writing pad/stylus for clear and effective presentations.
Skills:
Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, engaging manner.
Strong knowledge of teacher certification exams and effective test preparation strategies.
No video editing skills or software required—just a natural ability to deliver clear content on camera.
Competencies:
Comfortable on camera and confident when presenting educational content.
Ability to work independently (this is a remote, contract role).
Professional communication, responding to feedback in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification: If you have passed certification exams in states like Florida or Texas, that's a plus!
Experience: Teaching experience at any grade level.
Previous Content Creation: Experience creating educational video content is preferred but not required.
