We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst that will support North American operations by leveraging their data to drive smarter decisions and achieve better outcomes. You will provide for key stakeholders data insights and visibility, strategic decision support data, help identify inefficiencies and help forecast future trends based on historical data through developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Using your business acumen and technical skills, you will work with key stakeholders to seek out and drive process improvements, automation, and cost reduction initiatives wherever possible.
Key responsibilities include:
Create reports and dashboards to provide strategic data for executives, managers, and other stakeholders.
Proactively look for ways to improve processes, automate, and be more efficient
Develop financial and business models to support decision making.
Business Intelligence Development using business intelligence tools, databases, spreadsheets, and outputs.
Keep up to date with trends in business intelligence tools, systems, and methods.
Provide user support and training to develop them to be super-users, self-servicing, and how to maintain data integrity
Create a knowledge base and data repository for the for the businesses to provide self-service for users
Required;
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Business, or another related field is highly desirable
3 or more years of experience in a similar role
Experience developing ad-hoc reports
Experience creating dashboard solutions to tell stories and visualize historical data and trends
Good MS-Excel skills
Expertise in SQL development / Query development
Experience with BI tools (Cognos, Power BI, Tableau etc.)
Experience leading projects independently or as part of a team
Good business acumen and the ability to work with cross-functional teams and understand their processes and pain points
Preferred:
Experience with Cognos Analytics
Manufacturing industry experience
Experience with Power BI
Experience with Tableau
Experience working within ERP systems
Advanced MS-Excel skills
