Job Summary:

The Business Development & Partnerships Manager will be responsible for driving strategic growth through partnerships and collaborations. This role involves product seeding to potential partners such as brands, celebrities, and influencers; managing recurring relationships; and planning and executing all partner activations across social media, email, events, and product collaborations. The ideal candidate will have a strong network and experience in forging impactful partnerships that elevate brand awareness and drive sales. Additionally, this position will manage podcast relationships and print media initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development

• Identify and engage with potential brand partners, celebrities, and influencers for product seeding opportunities.

• Develop personalized outreach strategies to build interest and relationships.

• Distribute products to partners and track engagement results.

Relationship Management:

• Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with existing partners.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all partnership inquiries and communications.

• Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts.

Annual Planning:

• Develop and manage an annual business development and partnerships plan.

• Curate and maintain a list of high-impact celebrities and brands that align with

HydroJug’s brand values and growth objectives.

• Ensure that partnerships are relevant and influential to elevate HydroJug’s

market presence.

Activation Planning and Execution:

Campaign Management:

• Plan and manage all activations with partners across various channels, including social media, email marketing, events, and product collaborations.

• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, design, sales) to ensure cohesive

execution and messaging.

Event Coordination:

• Organize and oversee partnership events, launch parties, and promotional

activities.

• Collaborate with partners to maximize event impact and exposure.

Content Collaboration:

• Work with partners to create engaging content that resonates with target

audiences.

• Ensure all content aligns with HydroJug’s brand guidelines and messaging.

Media Management:

Podcast Relationships:

• Identify and establish relationships with podcasts that align with HydroJug’s

target demographic.

• Coordinate sponsorships, guest appearances, and advertising opportunities.

Print Media:

• Manage relationships with print media outlets for advertising and editorial

opportunities.

• Develop strategies to leverage print media for brand awareness and promotion.

Strategic Growth Initiatives

Cross-Promotions:

• Explore and implement cross-promotional opportunities with partners to expand reach and drive sales.

Market Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive

landscape.

• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic

decision-making.

New Business Opportunities:

• Seek out and evaluate new business opportunities, including international

expansion, new market segments, and innovative collaboration models.

Administrative and Reporting

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the partnerships budget, ensuring optimal ROI on all

initiatives.

Performance Tracking:

• Establish KPIs for all partnerships and activations.

• Monitor and report on the performance of partnership activities against KPIs.

Compliance:

• Ensure all partnerships and collaborations comply with legal and regulatory

requirements.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or

related roles.

• Proven track record of successfully managing partnerships with brands,

celebrities, and influencers.

• Experience in the consumer goods industry, particularly in health, wellness, or

lifestyle brands, is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong network within the industry and with key influencers.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.

• Proficiency in project management tools and CRM software.

• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative partnership concepts.
